Session Descriptions

The Movement of the Spirit – Fred Fulford

The Holy Spirit’s movement is not constrained by geography or time. In this session, we’ll learn about the movement of the Holy Spirit in history including recent times.  We’ll be inspired to seek and anticipate His presence today!

The Spirit and Listening – Aaron & Christina Caleb

Critical in our spiritual walk is the ability to hear God when He speaks. When we listen, God speaks! We’ll learn some skills and gain some perspective in our understanding of hearing God’s voice.

Life in the Spirit – Doug Smith

In our final session we will explore the biblical perspective of being baptized in the Holy Spirit by answering the questions,  "What is this ‘second’ baptism about?" and “ How can it change our lives as we live a life in the Spirit today?"

Breakout Session Options

The Spirit and Prophecy – Damien Kurek

The gift of prophecy can be intimidating, misunderstood and exciting all at once! Having a biblical understanding is helpful, and having a chance to learn about and explore prophecy in a safe place will minimize any confusion and get us excited.

The Spirit and Social Justice – Cameron Eggie

As we choose to live a life guided by the Spirit we face a world full of needs. Along with those needs is the question, “What can I do?”  This session seeks to practically answer the question while challenging us not to turn a blind eye to the needs around us.

The Spirit and Disciplines – Jeff Schroeder

Our devotional life is crucial in staying centered and encouraged as we live life in the Spirit. In this session we’ll explore what our devotional life can look like and the depth that comes as a result of our pressing in.

Spirit and Mission – Tara Preston

Expressing the grace and mercy that we have experienced through Christ can be daunting. With the encouragement of the Spirit, it doesn’t have to be! We’ll get some practical help and be motivated to continue to share the love of Christ with those around us.
