The Women's Retreat enables women to connect intimately with God and build long-lasting friendships with women across all ages and stages of life.

This year's theme is Friends that Make us More Like Jesus. The people who shape our lives the most those who are those who are closest to us. What does it mean to build relationships in our lives that help us grow . . . that are places where we learn to love each other the way Jesus loves? What does it mean to build enduring relationships that bring out the best in us, and are places of mutual support, love,  and encouragement? Our capacity and desire for friendship is a part of God's image in us, and knowing Jesus is meant to transform our relationships. Let's spend a weekend together, exploring how God desires to work in and through our friendships.

Speaker:

Kirsten Anonby lives in Langley, B.C. with her husband David and three children. She has been a part of the Living Waters community for the past ten years, and served as an associate pastor at Living Waters Church since 2021. For many years prior to this, she served university students as a campus pastor on the secular campus. Kirsten is deeply grateful for the friends who have journeyed with her for many years in her life of faith. She has a Masters in Theology from Regent College, and is passionate about helping people deepen in their relationship with Jesus and with each other. Kirsten is a bad dishwasher, but a good friend. She gets very excited about art supplies, board games, good books, and any holiday that involves water.
