DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Women’s Day — a special time to conn
ect\, reflect\, and serve together with the women in our community. Throug
 h worship\, a shared meal\, and a service project\, we’ll create space t
o slow down and explore the promise that when we seek God\, we find Him.
\nTheme \nThe theme for our time together is Come and Seek Him.\nWhat
does it look like to seek God in the midst of our everyday lives? And what
might keep us from doing so?\nTogether\, we’ll explore these questions
through the story of Mary Magdalene and consider how\, just when we think
we're the ones doing all the seeking\, we may discover He's been seeking u
s all along. \nWe’ll also have space to slow down\, listen\, and make r
oom for God to meet us.\nWhat to expect:  \n\nA welcoming space to relax
\, reflect\, and be refreshed. \nDelicious food and snacks \nMeaningful
conversations in small groups \nA chance to love and serve others through
  a hands-on project  \n\nAfternoon Service Project: Toiletry Kits  \nIn
the afternoon\, we’ll assemble toiletry kits and write cards for indivi
duals in our community experiencing homelessness. For the past few years\,
we've committed to filling 100 kits. We found out that more kits are need
ed\, so this year we've committed to creating 120 kits! These kits will b
e distributed by a Fraser Health team that provides frontline medical and
mental health care. \nIf you’d like to contribute\, we welcome donation
s of toiletry items. You can find the list and donation details here.  \
nEvent Details: \n\nLocation: Fort Langley Auditorium \nDoors open: 9:3
 0am  \nProgram begins: 10:00am \nCost: $30 (includes morning snack and l
unch) \nRegistration Opens: November 1\nRegistration Closes: November 24\
 n\nWhether you’re new to our community\, invited by a friend\, or someon
e who looks forward to this day every year\, you are so welcome! Come be
reminded of our seeking God and join us in responding with love for our n
