As we have all seen over the past days, Ukraine is experiencing an invasion of all sides. When we see injustice, war, conflict and hardship, our heart goes out to the poor and the vulnerable. We believe in a God who changes hearts and can bring about the end to conflict and war, so let’s pray to that end.
Pray today for vulnerable families, pastors and churches caught in the middle of active conflict. Pray God’s safety is felt, his voice is heard and his name is magnified in every life experiencing extreme situations.
To help us respond quickly to the escalating needs in Ukraine, Living Waters is partnering with ERDO (erdo.ca) in collecting donations. ERDO will be providing 5,000 families in multiple locations across Ukraine with support. Internally displaced families and vulnerable community members will receive emergency packs containing food, medicine and household items like temporary shelters and hygiene supplies. ERDO will be partnering with 100 local churches in Ukraine to distribute these supply packages.
