Interim Youth Director

 

Over the years, Living Waters Church has been able to give the gift of a sabbatical to several on our Ministry Team. In January, our Leadership Council approved a 12-week sabbatical for Rebeca Monzo beginning May 2025. Rebeca, who gives oversight to The Youth Network, has served on our Ministry Team for over 8 years with deep love and diligence. Rebeca's sabbatical isn't a medical leave, or a sign of disconnection in her work. It's a strategic break to be refreshed for the work to which she's called.

To ensure the ongoing health of our Youth Network, our Council has determined to create an Interim Youth Director role to serve during Rebeca’s sabbatical.

  • This position is temporary, up to 13 weeks between May 2025 – September 2025 and part-time up to 24.5 hours/week (0.7 Full-Time Equivalent).

  • This role works alongside an Associate Pastor, helps oversee potential summer staff, and of course, is part of our Ministry Team. 

  • The compensation package includes: 4% Vacation pay, and a grid-based hourly pay ranging between $24.45 – $30.39 based on years of related experience.

Interim Children's Ministry Assistant

 

We get to celebrate with the Johnson/Coates family as they welcome a new little one into their family in May 2025. During this time, Emma will be taking a one-year maternity leave from her Children's Ministry Assistant position.

To ensure the ongoing health of our Children's Ministry, our Council has determined to create an Interim Children's Ministry Assistant role to serve during Emma's maternity leave.

Living Waters Church, in partnership with the Canada Summer Jobs program, offers summer positions to create quality summer work experiences for young people under 30 years of age. These positions form part of our Ministry Team and serve in a specific role.
