We want to be a community that continues to show up, to serve and to share with one another. A generous church with Jesus at the centre.
We find it a helpful rhythm in October to check in together as a church on our financial picture. This is a practice we’ve done for several years, sharing as a "church family."
We want to be a discerning community, one that prayerfully prepares to financially resource the needs of caring for one another through:
As we are through the third quarter of the year, our General and Global Work Funds are slightly behind year over year.
This is not a financial red flag or something insurmountable. As a church, we walk in faith and full of trust, and we celebrate how we have been able to invest in needs globally and locally. We have also heard how keeping the needs of the church in front of us is important.
We are deeply grateful and encouraged in how we commit to care for one another, our community, and steward our resources with wisdom and generosity.
Every gift — large or small — makes a big difference. That might be to our General Fund in Fort Langley or Willoughby, or that might be specifically to Global Work.
If you're giving, thank you. Please continue to give as we come to the end of the year. If you’ve yet to give and wish to, we have information on our website and Giving Stations available in person. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.
