We want to be generous because Jesus is generous!
Flowing out of our value of generosity, we have made a practice to set aside 5% of the general funds donated to Living Waters Church, to give away. We want to be open-hearted, and open-handed with local organizations that do good work in our neighbourhoods. We've held to this practice for many years - giving away over $250k since 2018.
This December, we are distributing a portion of our 5% generosity fund which has accumulated year-to-date to an amount of $40,000. We are distributing this amount to 17 local organizations. These organizations are serving Langley and surrounding neighbourhoods in such a beautiful way.

Abba exists to raise the banner of God’s call to care for the fatherless. It is the hope and prayer of this ministry that it will develop awareness, compassion and conviction to minister to orphans, through a variety of different means.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley creates mentoring relationships that change young people’s lives. With training and professional support, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors from strong positive relationships with their mentees that express care, challenge growth, provide support, share power, and expand possibilities.
Boys & Girls Club of Langley provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.
Encompass is a grassroots, non-profit agency that provides a wide range of enriching and essential programs and support services to the communities of Langley. Encompass offers a variety of free, accessible community programs and activities for all ages with a primary focus on children youth and families.
Gateway of Hope is a ministry of The Salvation Army in Canada, serving Langley which exists to help the homeless and those at risk with material assistance and other crucial supports, in order to help them find hope and move forward. They bring a dignified, person-centered, and holistic approach to our work, meeting every individual with respect and without judgment or discrimination.
Inasmuch is a Community Society providing transitional housing and living support for Refugee Claimants as they seek asylum in Canada. Through partnerships, In As Much provides services and supports such as English language training, employment services, food, clothing, community, access to counselling, and household goods to furnish their first independent housing in Canada.
Inclusion provides services that improve quality of life for children with developmental or support needs and adults with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Inclusion Langley builds and strengthens community through information, support, and advocacy.
Langley Christmas Bureau exists to provide needy children and families with gift and food gift certificates to celebrate Christmas.
LCSS helps individuals enhance their lives through counselling, education, and the provision of information and resources. LCSS assists nearly 2,000 individuals, couples, and families on a yearly basis offering a wide variety of programs in the areas of family counselling, family services, settlement and integration and substance use services.
The Langley Food Bank is an incorporated society non-profit helping to provide nutritious food for families each week. They also develop relational bridges to discover and find ways to meet the families' needs whether they are physical, social, or spiritual in nature.
The Langley Hospice is committed to providing emotional, practical, and spiritual support for people who are living with a terminal illness, their family, and friends, throughout the last stages of illness, at the time of death and bereavement.
Langley Seniors Resource Centre is an independent, not-for-profit organization and registered charity that has been providing social, recreational, and educational programs and food, health, and services to adults 50 years of age and older in the City and Township of Langley.
We have a wonderful opportunity to serve a local's women's prison again this Christmas. Since 2017, we have provided gift bags for each resident at this federal prison through Helping Hands. These gift bags are the talk of the prison for months - even around the year! Memories of receiving these gifts often come up in conversations among both staff and residents.
Wagner Hills is a faith-based recovery centre in Langley BC with a campus for men, and a campus for women. They provide a one-year recovery program, seeing people through this process with classes, counselling, and rehabilitation through work programs and community programs. Wagner Hills strives to bring healing, growth, and transformation on the road to recovery.
YL Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp, and other exciting activities. Young Life staff and volunteers model Christ’s unconditional love and acceptance as they walk alongside these special teens — filling their lives with love and support.
Youth Unlimited engages in every day lives of young people. They are committed to extending Christ’s love to youth who otherwise are falling through the cracks in Greater Vancouver. Their purpose is to see these young lives transformed through relationships.
