Last spring, we were able to give $18,000 from our Global Work Fund to various projects, and one of these projects was with Nick and Cheryl Dekoning and Our Trees Our Future. With the funds they received, they were able to promote breadfruit trees at a large Agricultural Show. What a gift to be part of this ground-breaking initiative! 

For many years, Living Waters has recognized particular individuals who are a part of our church and serving in support-based ministries. Because of our generosity, we’ve been able to give $1,000 each to these nine ministries as a way of recognizing and supporting the good work our people are doing:

  • Steve Bowler — Fountain of Life
  • Kathy Bowler — Children of Blessing
  • Brandon Hok — Young Life 
  • Julie Simeon — Youth With A Mission
  • Sara M. — Wycliffe Canada
  • Reuben Kramer — Athletes in Action
  • Ian Daniel — He Had Compassion
  • Barb Orlowski — Into all the World 

Back in July, we teamed up with Gateway of Hope to gather school supplies—and because of your generosity, over 750 backpacks were filled and handed out to students who might have started the year without them.
