Merry Christmas!
2020 is just around the corner and with a new year brings the chance to make some helpful changes. We wanted to keep you in the loop so this doesn't come as too much as a surprise in the midst of the holiday season!
Starting January 5, 2020 our service times will be adjusting in our Fort Langley location:
8:30a, 10:10a, 11:40a
Why the change?
Over the last year, we've found that our 8:30a, 10a & 11:30a services are helpful time slots. However, the time in-between the services (15 minutes) can feel a little tight. This particularly affects some of our volunteer teams - for example, those who serve with Kids@theFort. So we're making a little more room in order to better serve our children, families and anyone else who might find this helpful. We also hope this will give us more space to connect before or after a service, something we know is of great value to our church family. We've always aimed to find unique ways to make room for one another, and this is one simple way!
Of course, we understand that the times of 10:10 & 11:40 are a little different. It may take us a few Sundays to get in the swing of things and that's okay! Some of us might turn up a little early to a service or two, but we trust that isn't too much of an inconvenience.
LWC has always been a flexible, room-making community, and we hope our services are a blessing and not a burden for everyone involved. This small change will help to lift a burden.
