"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!"

For our community Art Exhibit this spring, we will be going all out to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! After six and a half years of preaching through the Gospel of Luke, we are finally reaching its joyful and climactic conclusion. We are looking forward to seeing our artists' exploration of this theme: whether it's a work that shares how Jesus has brought you from death to life, or whether it's simply a declaration of praise to Jesus, who has brought all of His people from darkness to light.
This will be an informal show, on display in our lobby and auditorium for three weeks from Sunday, April 27 to Sunday, May 14.
We will be hosting a reception for this art exhibition on Sunday, May 4 (directly after the third service). This is a chance for our community to walk through the written and visual aspects of the exhibit, talk with the artists, and enjoy some performances and readings by artists in our community. We look forward to this time together to appreciate this exhibit and to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus as a community!
