Philip travels to Samaria, where the gospel also takes root, through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. This passage is about the change which comes when the gospel is accepted by a certain place and people. It's also about adapting to that change, learning to live in the new reality of God’s kingdom with God’s very presence directing and filling all who set foot in it.
