Acts 9:19–31

For the last three weeks, we have been introduced to Saul. What are we learning? What difference does studying Acts make for any of us?
As we have said often, we read and study scripture to first and foremost learn about Jesus. Therefore, as we consider “Saul’s salvation story,” our hope for one another is that our love for Jesus grows.
In Acts 9, we are literally watching a gracious Lord show kindness to Saul, whom many would call an enemy of Jesus and followers of the Way. Acts 9 pulls back the curtains on how Jesus has so much for us — it shows us how Jesus responds to the most vile sinner. Jesus' grace is on full display as He offers Saul so much.
