Preteen Events
PRETEEN EVENTS
Two Fridays a month, the Preteens meet at our Fort Langley location (9095 Glover Rd) from 6:00pm-7:30pm (unless otherwise posted) for games and activities. This is a great entry-level year before the students move on to The Youth Network (Grades 7-12).
Kids Preteen Events are for kids in Grades 5 & 6. Feel free to invite your friends and print the (PDF) calendar below!

PRETEEN CALENDAR (September 2025 - January 2026)
September 19th: KICK OFF PARTY / 6:00-7:30pm at Living Waters Church
Whether you're new or have been around forever, this is the perfect night to hang out, make new friends, and start the season strong. Bring your energy, your game face, and your appetitie - we'll bring the fun! With "Minute to Win It" challenges, bouncy castle fun, pizza and time to connect with friends and leaders, this is a night you do not want to miss.
October 3rd: Masterpiece Night / 6:00 - 7:30pm at Living Waters Church
Do you love to create, build or take on crazy challenges? Then this night is made for YOU! Grab your friends and come ready for a wild building contest with all kinds of wacky supplies, random team challenges that'll test your creativity and team work and a hands-on snack creation in the kitchen. Get ready for the mess and laughter, we look forward to seeing you there!
October 17th: Bowling & DQ / 6:30 - 8:00pm at Alder Alley and Dairy Queen
Ready to roll? Grab your friends and come join us for an awesome night of strikes, spares, and maybe even a few gutter balls! Whether you're a bowling pro or just in it for the laughs, this night is all about fun, friends and ice cream. We're heading to Alder Lanes (27070 Fraser Hwy) and will finish with a sweet treat at Dairy Queen (26930 Fraser Hwy). Preteens please arrive for 6:15pm to get your shoe rentals. An epic prize awaits the BEST DRESSED, so break out your most creative, spooky, or hilarious Halloween costume and show it off in style!
October 31st: Trunk Or Treat / 6:00 - 7:30pm at Living Waters Church
Get ready for a spook-tacular night of costumes, candy, and creative car trunks! Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat—a safe, family-friendly Halloween event where the fun is parked and the candy is plenty! Walk through rows of decorated car trunks, each one uniquely themed and packed with sweet surprises.
November 21st: Gingerbread House Contest / 6:00 - 7:30pm at Living Waters Church
Get ready to enter the sweetest competition of the season. Join us for a Gingerbread House Contest like you've never seen before. You'll be split into teams, given the classic gingerbread house kit... and a twist! Each team will draw a surprise theme and have to build a house that brings it to life. But wait -- it gets better. You'll be given a set amount of Fort Dollars to "shop" for extra building suppplies (aka candy!) at our exclusive Candy Store. Use your team's creativity, teamwork, and sugar-fueled imagination to build the most epic gingerbread creation. PRIZES will be awarded to the winning team, judged by yours truly - parents.
December 5th: Christmas Party / 6:00 - 8:00pm at Living Waters Church
It's time to get marry and bright - Preteen style! We're throwing a Christmas party packed with fun, food and festive vibes, and YOU are invited! Belt it out with Christmas karaoke, enjoy delicious holiday snacks, strike a pose at our photobooth and get ready for some wacky Christmas games. Don't forget to dress up in your best festive outfit - think Christmas PJs, ugly sweater, reindeer antlers... anything fun and festive! Bring your friends and your holiday cheer.
January 16th: Swim Night / 6:00 - 8:00pm at Walnut Grove Pool
Grab your goggles and swimsuit -- it's time to make a splash. We're heading to Walnut Grove Pool for an epic night of swimming, diving, splashing, and yes - even hot tub chilling! Whether you're racing down the lane, cannonballing into the deep end, or just floating with friends, this is a night all about fun in the water. Don't miss this wet 'n wild night of laughs, games and all the poolside fun you can handle! See you there!
