English Conversation Club

The English Conversation Club is a place to meet with others to grow our understanding of English.

Whether you are new to speaking and understanding English or simply looking to practice your skills, the English Conversation Club (ECC) is the place for you!

Our motto, “Joy of Conversation,” reflects our heart. Over the years, ECC has grown into a trusted and well-loved community space in Willoughby — known for its generosity, kindness, joy, and for being a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for everyone. We are deeply grateful to have shared this journey with over 70 volunteers and more than 300 students from 23 countries so far.

We offer English conversation groups for all levels, including thoughtfully designed groups for youth and total beginners. Whether you are confident in English or just starting out, there is a place for you here.

At ECC, we believe every person is valuable, every story matters, and learning happens best in an atmosphere of respect, joy, and encouragement.

Spring 2026 Session

The English Conversation Club will run every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, from March 4 to April 29, with a special Cultural Night Dinner on Saturday, May 9. Please note there will be a two-week break on March 18 & 25 for spring break. All Sessions will take place in the gym at Yorkson Creek Middle School.
