We would like to invite you to our annual Women’s Day—a special time of connection for the women in our community to grow in relationship. It's our hope that this time of worship, sharing, and serving the marginalized will help to prepare our hearts for the advent season.

Theme

Our theme for our time together this year is Your Life Matters. Do you ever struggle to see how what you do in your day to day life is a part of God's purposes and work in the world? For our Women's Day this year we'll be talking about all the things that happen when we're not at church—and how those things are a vital part of the Kingdom of God.

We will get the chance to hear a panel of women in our community share about four contexts we often as women find ourselves in: our workplace, our neighborhood, our parenting, and our caregiving of those who aren't our children. We will explore the unique joys and challenges of walking out these roles as women, and will discuss how they connect with God's purposes in the world. We will then have some time to gather in small groups to discuss how this connects with our own lives. It should be powerful time of encouragement for all of us.

Toiletry Kits for the Homeless

Our afternoon will give us a space to work together to assemble toiletry kits and write cards for the homeless and vulnerable in our community. These kits will be given out by a  team through Fraser Health that provides medical and mental health care for the homeless and most vulnerable in our communities.

We would love to invite you to bring items for these toiletry kits. If you would like to donate items towards these bags you may do so here.
