Over the summer months, we have completed several improvement projects around our buildings and property. Our hope in addressing some of these needs is to better serve our ministries, team, and our welcome.

Here are a few highlights from the last few months.

  • Renovations to our Front Building included adding 2 new meeting spaces and 2 new offices. The furnace needed replacement, at which time air conditioning was added for the upper and lower floors.

  • Audio and visual equipment was purchased for various meeting rooms. Our hope is to better serve our many groups and networks. We also added more sound-dampening panels in our lobby.

  • Initial Property and Driveway improvements have included widening our entrance on Glover Road, and to our back parking lot, a new garbage enclosure and retaining wall. We continue to have discussions on how to further improve our back parking lot to serve our community and neighbourhood. 'Welcome' begins in the parking lot!

The funds for these projects were set aside in our savings by our council at the beginning of this year. Thank you! It is because of our community’s generosity over the last few years that we could see these improvements happen.
