Join us for our annual Women’s Day — a special time to connect, reflect, and serve together with the women in our community. Through worship, meaningful conversations, a shared meal, and serving together, we’ll make space to encounter the nearness of God.
The theme for our time together is Immanuel: The God Who Comes Close. In a world marked by disconnection, loneliness, and noise, the name Immanuel speaks a radical and beautiful truth: God is not far off — He comes close.
During our time together, we’ll reflect on the wonder of a God who doesn’t remain distant or detached, but steps into the dirt and difficulty of our everyday lives. He doesn’t wait until we have it all together — He meets us right where we are.
In the afternoon, we’ll assemble toiletry kits and write cards for individuals in our community experiencing homelessness. These kits will be distributed by a Fraser Health team that provides frontline medical and mental health care.
If you’d like to contribute, we welcome donations of toiletry items. You can find the list and donation details here.
Whether you’re new to our community, invited by a friend, or someone who looks forward to this day every year — you are so welcome. Come be reminded of God’s nearness and join us in responding with love for our neighbour!
