Join us for our annual Women’s Day — a special time to connect, reflect, and serve together with the women in our community. Through worship, a shared meal, and a service project, we’ll create space to slow down and explore the promise that when we seek God, we find Him.
Theme
The theme for our time together is Come and Seek Him.
What does it look like to seek God in the midst of our everyday lives? And what might keep us from doing so?
Together, we’ll explore these questions through the story of Mary Magdalene and consider how, just when we think we're the ones doing all the seeking, we may discover He's been seeking us all along.
We’ll also have space to slow down, listen, and make room for God to meet us.
What to expect:
Afternoon Service Project: Toiletry Kits
In the afternoon, we’ll assemble toiletry kits and write cards for individuals in our community experiencing homelessness. For the past few years, we've committed to filling 100 kits. We found out that more kits are needed, so this year we've committed to creating 120 kits! These kits will be distributed by a Fraser Health team that provides frontline medical and mental health care.
If you’d like to contribute, we welcome donations of toiletry items. You can find the list and donation details here.
