Prayer starts with appreciating what we are invited to. Our text in Hebrews 7 reminds us that as we pray, we accept the invitation of the most holy relationships. We look to Jesus, who is looking at us, and we talk to Jesus who is talking to us. As we pray, we have an appreciation for the revelation that our Heavenly Father looks at Jesus, our forever High Priest, who is looking, caring, and loving us.
