This week, we're joined by our global worker, David Thormoset, who recently retired from Wycliffe Canada, supporting the global work of language development, literacy, Bible translation, and scripture use for many years. Luke Knight shares from Luke 24:35–43, as the two disciples who have met Jesus on the road to Emmaus return to Jerusalem to share their experience.

It's going to be an amazing Sunday full of worship, prayer, and community, and we can't wait to see you!

Over the next few months, our Team at Living Waters will look a little different. Rebeca, our Youth Pastor, is receiving the gift of sabbatical where she’ll rest, learn, and rejoin us in early August. Emma, our Children’s Ministry Assistant, will soon be going on maternity leave as a new little one is welcomed into the world. We’re pleased to share who will step into the shoes of both roles, as well as three Summer Workers joining us to serve with kids, teens, and young adults!

Mark your calendar and plan on joining our Men's Breakfast!

At this breakfast, we will collect clothes and toiletries for the Wagner Hills Men's Campus. Collecting T-shirts, shorts (excellent or new condition, Size Small – 3XL), toothpaste, and new sports socks.

We will be hearing Austin Driedger tell his story. He and his wife, Monique, are an amazing young couple, and Austin works at Tim Hortons as the franchise performance manager.

Beginning Sunday, June 8, we'll be moving to new Summer service times:

8:45am & 10:30am

Kids@theFort and Nursery are available in both services.

Our hope is to bring our community together by having just the two services and allowing time in between to connect. The summer service times will also provide a break for our teams, who since the fall have been pouring into multiple services. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Our Women's Network is kicking off the summer with a great evening of enjoying dinner together! There is no scheduled program for the evening, just a potluck dinner and a chance to have fun together. If you are new to Living Waters, this is a great chance to get to know other women of all ages in our community. You are invited!

We'll provide veggie & hamburgers, plates & cutlery. There's no cost to the event, but do sign up, so we know you're coming!

We're very thankful to have a strong volunteer community. With that in mind, we are looking for a couple more volunteers to add to our weekly rotation to do laundry from the church.
