This is our third sermon on this passage, so our notes will assume that we are already familiar with the text and the points made in the previous sermons. There are several difficulties when preaching on Easter: we all “know” the texts so well, they are almost cliches, and for this reason, we don’t always read them carefully enough. In this session, we will try to pay close attention to what Luke actually wrote.
