Students, quick heads up! If you're planning to join the 10:30 Sunday morning gathering and you're unsure where to sit, feel free to join us in the Youth Row. We usually occupy the second or third row from the front, right in the middle! Just look for the group of friendly youth faces.

October 1 | Youth Church
Join us this week for homemade treats, time with friends, Nine Square, and live worship! We'll be splitting into Mids and Highs this week—Mids will hang out in the Youth Centre for fun activities and small group discussions, while Highs will stay in the auditorium for a short message and squad time. We’re also kicking off a brand new sermon series called "Love Like Jesus"!
Here's what’s in store:
Over three Tuesdays, we'll dive deep into what it truly means to Love Like Jesus. His teachings on love were bold, radical, and often counter-cultural, challenging us to step out of our comfort zones. What did He mean when He told us to love our enemies, care for the least of these, and love our neighbors as ourselves?
We’ll be tackling tough questions like:
- Are we really called to love everyone—or just some?
- How do we reflect Jesus' unconditional love in a world filled with division, judgment, and self-interest?
Each week, we’ll break down these challenging concepts and explore how we can love in a way that truly mirrors Christ—both in life’s tough moments and in the everyday.
Join us as we unpack how living out Jesus' command to love others can not only change us but the world around us.
Rebeca, Dan Donkers, and Reuben Kramer will be guiding us through this exciting series. Don’t miss it!
October 8 | Storm the Fort
Get ready for the ultimate challenge this week! You and your squad of 4 will be racing all over Fort Langley in a wild hunt for 5 ribbons. But here’s the catch—if you get caught, you might have to start from scratch! The first team to grab all 5 ribbons and make it back to the church wins the legendary **Lee's Donuts**. Game on!
October 15 | Youth Church with Special Guest: Dan Donkers
This week, get pumped for snacks, hanging out with friends, a super fun game, and live worship! We’re splitting into Mids and Highs as usual—Mids will have a blast in the Youth Centre with activities and small group chats, while Highs will stick around in the auditorium for a quick message and squad time. We’re diving into our "Love Like Jesus" series, focusing on what it means to care for “the least of these.” Don’t miss out!
October 22 | Squad Night
Love carving pumpkins? Navigating through a corn maze? Devouring pie? Or maybe candy’s your jam? This week, whatever you’re into, you’ll have an epic time hanging out with your squad. Tonight, mids will be competing in a pumpkin carving contest and enjoying some delicious pie! Highs will be piling into the church van and cars and heading over to the Greendale Acres corn maze in Chilliwack. Please note: You need to buy your tickets online HERE and you need to meet at the church at 6PM.
October 25-27 | Youth Network Fall Retreat: Live Like Jesus
For everyone who’s registered, get ready for an epic time at Alexandra House, Crescent Beach! This year’s theme is Live Like Jesus, and we’ve got the incredible Allen De Jong joining us as a special guest. More details will hit your inbox soon!

October 29 | Baptism Tuesday & Student Stories & Pizza
This week is going to be awesome! We’re kicking off the night with live worship, student stories, and baptisms! And of course, we’re celebrating with pizza and all the fixin’s! If you’re thinking about getting baptized, just let Rebeca know. It’s going to be an unforgettable night of celebration and faith!
Youth Band
Hey Youth Band members and all you future musicians! Our first band practice of the school year is going down on September 24 at 5:15 PM at Living Waters Church. Bring your instrument (if you’ve got one), a binder for your music sheets, and come ready to jam! We’ll take care of the pizza!

Since a lot of our summer fun is off-campus, we need everyone to sign a general waiver. If you haven't already, you can sign it HERE. If you've already signed one, you're good until January (unless you're joining Sleep n' Ride).
