This Sunday
As we read through the Gospel of Luke and as we lead up to Resurrection / Easter Sunday, we want these upcoming weeks to be a formative time: • April 6 — Jesus’ Death (Luke Knight) We encourage you to lean in at the climax of the Gospel, and what God is doing among us on Sundays. This week, we have our global workers Darcy & Leanne McAlister visiting and sharing an update, as well as an extended time of worship & communion following the sermon. It's going to be an amazing Sunday full of worship, prayer, and community, and we can't wait to see you! For more infomation visit:

Call For Submissions
Deadline to register submissions: Sunday, April 13 For our community Art Exhibit this spring, we will be going all out to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! After six and a half years of preaching through the Gospel of Luke, we are finally reaching its joyful and climactic conclusion. We are looking forward to seeing our artists' exploration of this theme: whether it's a work that shares how Jesus has brought you from death to life, or whether it's simply a declaration of praise to Jesus, who has brought all of His people from darkness to light. If you are a poet or painter; if you sketch, quilt, sculpt, or create any other form of visual or written art, we would invite you to share your work with us! This will be an informal show, on display in our lobby and auditorium for three weeks. If children or families wish to participate, they are also welcome to do so. There is no skill level required for participation — we simply want to receive our community's creative reflection on Jesus' resurrection. Questions can be directed to Kirsten Anonby. Acknowledging Grief: A WorkshopSundays, April 27 & May 4 Grief is many things and expresses itself in many forms. It’s felt in our lives. It’s painful. We grieve for many reasons, and these sessions are inclusive of many forms of grief: a broken relationship, the death of a loved one, a health diagnosis, or a significant life change, or feeling the residue of grief walking through the above with someone we care about. Grief isn’t a problem to solve, an issue to grow out of, a thorn in the flesh, or something to get over. It’s not linear with a clear step-by-step process or a project to medicate and distract from. We don’t get to hop over grief with rose-coloured glasses. Jesus promises comfort in amongst our grief and pain. He draws near to us, as we are. We want this workshop to be a safe place to help us discover how grief is best acknowledged and understood. It will give us language to help our journeys and those we are walking with. Facilitators: Mike Vaters & Jillian Hart MA, CCC, RCC For more infomation visit: http://lwchurch.ca/events/acknowledging-grief-a-workshop--424/2025-04-27

Arts Camp: Live It OutSave the Date! Registration Opens May 1 Arts Camp (July 7–10) is an inclusive camp which inspires children to grow in their relationship with Jesus and to develop in their God-given imagination and gifting! Over the week of camp, children learn and grow in relationship with God and others. Arts Camp was designed to promote curiosity and wonder in children about God, themselves, their world, and creation. This is done by creating safe spaces for friendship, fun, and laughter. Enthusiastic leaders encourage children to grow in their unique abilities through large and small group sessions, which include movement and music activities, art projects, jr. chef, bible lessons, and games.
