This Sunday
This week, Rikk Watts shares from Luke 24, as the first people to see and hear of Jesus' empty tomb were left wondering, or simply couldn’t believe, what they were hearing — and this is because no one expected to find an empty tomb that morning. We'll also be having communion, with some homemade sourdough as part of our Art Exhibit! It's going to be an amazing Sunday full of worship, prayer, and community, and we can't wait to see you! Through the Arts: ResurrectionArt Exhibit Reception on Sunday, May 4 at 1:00pm For our community Art Exhibit this spring, we will be going all out to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! After six and a half years of preaching through the Gospel of Luke, we are finally reaching its joyful and climactic conclusion. We are looking forward to seeing our artists' exploration of this theme: whether it's a work that shares how Jesus has brought you from death to life, or whether it's simply a declaration of praise to Jesus, who has brought all of His people from darkness to light. This will be an informal show, on display in our lobby and auditorium for three weeks from Sunday, April 27 to Sunday, May 11. We will be hosting a reception for this art exhibition on Sunday, May 4 (directly after the third service). This is a chance for our community to walk through the written and visual aspects of the exhibit, talk with the artists, and enjoy some performances and readings by artists in our community. We look forward to this time together to appreciate this exhibit and to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus as a community! For more infomation visit:
