The Leadership Project

Here at the Youth Network, our goal is to empower teens like you to take the lead not only within our community but also in the Church and your personal life. We truly believe that God has given you incredible passions, strengths, and leadership abilities. Our mission is to help you uncover these unique gifts, nurture them, and give you the platform to shine and make an impact.

This program is designed for students in grades 9-12.

Discover.

After you've confirmed your participation with us, we'll invite you to take a 45-minute to 1-hour CliftonStrengths Assessment. This assessment will uncover your top five strengths when it comes to leadership. These strengths will serve as a compass for us as we provide guidance, mentorship, and work together to nurture your leadership abilities.

Develop.

Throughout the school year, you’ll take part in focused Leadership Lab Sessions. Once a month for 50 minutes, you’ll dive into topics like practical leadership, the character of a leader, event planning, StrengthsFinder, and more. An experienced leader will guide you, sharing tips and insights you can actually use.

Release.

If you join the Leadership Project, you’ll earn a seat at the Youth Leadership Table. That means you’ll have a voice—a chance to share your ideas, thoughts, and even concerns about youth. We want to hear from you, and we’re ready to act on your input.

Depending on your strengths and comfort level, you could step up in different ways—helping with kids ministry, running youth Alpha, planning youth events, leading games or discussions, speaking, welcoming others, or running sound and media. The opportunities are wide open and exciting!

Program Objectives:

  • Take ownership of their role at youth and make a real difference.
  • Discover their spiritual gifts and strengths—and put them into action every day.
