Students, quick heads up! If you're planning to join the 10:15am Sunday morning service and you're unsure where to sit, feel free to join us in the Youth Row. We usually occupy the second or third row from the front, right in the middle! Just look for the group of friendly youth faces.
Youth Band
If you play an instrument or sing and would like to be part of the youth band, we’d love to have you! The band practices on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 5:15 PM - 6:30 PM and new members are always welcome. For more information, contact Rebeca.

For those in Youth Band, we’ll be gathering for practice from 5:15–6:30 PM in the auditorium. Dinner is on us (pizza!).
Afterward, we’ll head into our Squads for the night. Here's what YOUR Squad will be doing...

June 30 | Start of Summer BBQ & Pool Party @ the Pahl’s
This week, we're heading to the Pahls' to celebrate the start of summer and welcome our new freshmen (students moving up from preteens into youth)!
It's going to be an awesome night with a pool, games, a fire pit, great food, and plenty of time to connect and have fun together. You won't want to miss it!
Students who need a ride from the church should contact Rebeca by June 23 so we can arrange rides.

Summer Sessions
This summer, we're trying something new: a Summer Book Club!
This won't be your typical book club. Throughout the summer, we'll be gathering at different coffee shops to talk about faith, life, and some of the bigger questions students wrestle with. Using Brenna Blain's book Can I Say That? as our starting point, we'll have honest conversations about challenging topics in a welcoming and thoughtful environment.
Whether you have lots of questions, strong opinions, or are simply curious, this is a great opportunity to grow in your faith, learn from one another, and engage with real-life issues through a biblical lens.
Because of the subject matter, this group is only open to students entering Grades 10–12.
We'll be meeting every Monday from 10:00–11:30 AM, beginning July 13 and wrapping up on August 17.
As an added bonus, the first five students to sign up will receive a free copy of the book! After those copies are claimed, students can purchase the book through Amazon or pick up the audiobook version through Audible if they prefer to listen.

July 6-9 | Summer Serve: Arts Camp

July 14 | One Epic Summer Day
We're heading to Cultus for one epic summer day!
We'll tackle Teapot Hill, grab some Banter Ice Cream, and spend time hanging out by the lake. We'll meet at the church at 9:30 AM and head to Cultus together. Our goal is to be back by 4:00 PM (traffic depending).
Be sure to bring comfortable shoes for hiking, a packed lunch, money for ice cream (optional), and anything you'll need for a fun afternoon at the lake.

July 21 | Beach Walk
This Tuesday, we're heading to the White Rock Pier for an evening stroll along the beach and, of course, some ice cream—or, if you're really hungry, fish and chips!
We'll meet at the pier at 7:00 PM. If you need a ride, please let us know by July 14 so we can make arrangements.
Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes and some spending money if you'd like ice cream or fish and chips. We can't wait to spend a summer evening together by the ocean!
(Wednesday) July 29 | Vancouver Rise vs. Montreal Roses Soccer Game (Sign up fast!)
On July 29, we're heading to Burnaby to cheer on Vancouver Rise FC as they take on Montreal! Tickets are $25 and include transportation to and from the game.
We'll leave the church promptly at 4:30 PM and aim to return by 10:00 PM. There will be food trucks and a merch table at the stadium, so feel free to bring some extra spending money.
We have a limited number of tickets available, so sign up early to secure your spot! If tickets sell out, we'll start a waitlist while we work on getting more.

August 4 | Cultus Lake Waterslides
This Tuesday, we're heading to the Cultus Lake Waterslides for a day of fun in the sun!
You'll need to purchase your own ticket, which you can do HERE.
To help us arrange rides and transportation, please let us know if you're planning to come. We don't want anyone to miss out on what is sure to be an awesome day!
We'll be heading out at 9:30 AM and aiming to be back by 5:30 PM.
August 11 | Worship & Bonfire Night
Join us at the Pahl's place for a summer evening of worship around the fire, s'mores, and time together. It's going to be a meaningful night of worship, community, and fun, and we'd love for you to be there!
The evening begins at 7:00 PM. If you need a ride, let us know and we'll do our best to arrange one for you.
August 18 | Capture the Flag
Tonight is Capture the Flag! Get ready for an evening of running, strategizing, and friendly competition as we battle it out for victory. We'll meet at the church at 7:00 PM. Bring your friends and come ready to play! And come prepared to get a little wet—if the weather cooperates, we may just break out the water balloons to help us cool off.
(Wednesday) August 26 | Whistler Day Trip
This week, we're heading to Whistler for our Fourth Annual Whistler Day Trip!
We'll spend some time exploring Whistler Village before heading to a nearby beach for an afternoon of fun in the sun. Be sure to bring a packed lunch (or money to buy lunch), along with your beach gear and anything else you'll need for a great day outdoors.
We'll be leaving the church at 9:30 AM and are aiming to be back by 6:00 PM. It's always one of the highlights of the summer, and we'd love for you to join us!
